Communications and Network Officer Active Learning Network for Accountability and Performance in Humanitarian Action (ALNAP)

This is an exciting opportunity for a Communications Officer to join the Active Learning Network for Accountability and Performance in Humanitarian Action (ALNAP), housed at ODI.

ALNAP (www.alnap.org) is an international inter-agency network dedicated to improving humanitarian performance through increased learning and accountability.

The ALNAP Communications and Network Officer is a key member of the ALNAP team, and will play a central role in the delivery of ALNAP’s strategy. S/he will lead the development and delivery of strategic communications approaches that will enhance the effectiveness, awareness and reputation of the ALNAP network and bring in new stakeholders from across and beyond the international humanitarian system.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level with a track record in similar communications work and experience of communicating and building relationships in an international setting. You should have a proactive approach and work well within a small team, have good interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to liaise and communicate with colleagues at all levels of seniority.

Salary: £30,872 - £35,788pa
