Job Details

Reporting to the Head of the Economic, Social and Strategic Studies Unit, the incumbent will be in charge of the following tasks:

  • Preparing macroeconomic reports and/or briefing notes on the economic and social situation of CEB member or non-member states within the framework of the official mission of the Governor and/or Vice-Governors;
  • Preparing monthly macroeconomic monitoring dashboards;
  • Preparing speeches and presentations on economic and social subjects for the Vice-Governors and the Central Director for Studies and International Relations;
  • Contributing to sectoral analyses and other studies conducted in the Bank’s sectors of action, in collaboration with the Unit economist;
  • Contributing to establishing economic and social indicators per sector, per country and/or per region with which to evaluate the social impact of the Bank’s operations;
  • Wherever necessary, participating in the preparation of workshops and seminars in the Bank’s sectors of action.
  • More generally, the incumbent will collaborate in any other task that may be requested of him/her within the framework of the Unit’s activity.

Profile

  • Studies: Postgraduate university degree in economy;
  • Professional skills: At least 3 years’ prior experience acquired in an international organisation, bank or research centre for economy and social sciences;
  • Personal skills: Rigour, adaptability, capacity for analysis and synthesis, good relational and teamwork skill;
  • Language skills: Operational fluency and proven capacity to draft in the Bank’s two official languages (English and French);
  • Nationality: Citizen of one of the Bank’s Member States.
