TV Production Manager
Femina HIP is the multimedia platform and a civil society initiative working with youth, communities and strategic partners across Tanzania. Our aim is to promote healthy lifestyles, citizen engagement and economic empowerment.
Femina HIP educates and entertains young people and gives them VOICE to speak up and share experiences. Our principal media products are; Fema and Si Mchezo! Magazines, Fema TV Talk Show, Ruka Juu entrepreneurship program, and Chezasalama.com.
Femina HIP is looking for a TV Production Manager, to work with our team in the production of TV programs. We are looking for a Confident, outspoken, personality with lots of ideas and initiatives with experience in TV production who knows the challenges of the industry faces in Tanzania.
Position Requirements
- Must have training and experience of at least 3 years in TV Production.
- Must be a leader with a capacity to plan and manage and should be able to direct a team. He/ she needs to meet deadlines and oversee the whole production process, create schedules, write proposals, edit stories, write scripts, episode breakdowns and arrange meetings.
- Must be socially diplomatic and comfortable with meeting various people in all kinds of situations and working with various consultants.
- Must be able to work in a studio environment as well as on location including in the rural areas and be able to adapt to the changes that arise.
- Must have presentation skills and be able to speak confidently in large audience, should be fluent in Kiswahili and English.
- Must have passion to work with youth and development initiatives
