The role of the Body Weld Specialist is to focus on new model development readiness. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide production engineering support for equipment systems and vehicle processing and tooling
- Coordinate and lead multiple projects with internal plant personnel, outside contractors or vendors
- Manage projects with Production, Quality Engineering and Design
- Responsible to verify all system components meet TMMMS/TEMA, State and Federal codes
- Engineering responsibility for critical production tooling throughout TMMMS
- Responsible for ensuring reliability, stability and efficiency to meet plan production volume requirements and new model introduction
- Responsible for developing business plans and strategies
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering field or equivalent professional experience
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work independently
- Experienced in Microsoft Office
- Toyota experience
Preferred:
- Budget control experience
