Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America, Inc (TEMA) is the alignment of Toyota's North American R&D and manufacturing operations, joining the operations, planning and technical functions. TEMA headquarters in Erlanger, KY, house the Toyota Operations Center and the Toyota Planning Center. The main offices for the Toyota Technical Center are in Ann Arbor, MI.
This position is located in Georgetown, KY.
Responsibilities
Business process and IS Systems Analyst responsible for internal logistics and maintenance systems (ILMS-Internal Logistics Management System, Parts Call, Maximo Maintenance Management System). This person will be responsible for providing business leadership, understanding detailed business process, and leading development of systems to support that process. They will provide additional IS leadership working with BPSM, PE and NAMC's. This will also enable Toyota Way problem solving using JKK, & TBP along with effective communication up to GM level of the business.
Operation/Function
- Subject matter expert responsible to support ILMS, Parts Call, Maximo Maintenance Management System. Overflow Management System, and Floor Counter System at all NAMC's.
- Work with IT Infrastructure groups to ensure system stability and response.
Lead/manage team members
- Responsible for project team of 3-5 project contract members. Includes facilitating daily and weekly project meetings to ensure progress of requirements, design, development, testing & support of multiple regional internal logistics and maintenance management projects.
- Responsible to interface with 5-7 Business member peers at NAMC's BPSM, PE.
Manage projects (ILMS, CMMS, Parts Call)
Develop Business Plans/Strategies
- Bi weekly meetings with PE & BPSM GM and below reviewing Functional Objectives and business strategies.
- Develop 1-5 year road map and systems strategy to support common Maintenance Management system, internal Logistics Management system, and Parts Call system.
Problem Resolution
- Weekly project/support meetings with business tracking issues and counter measures.
- Business Analyst - interface with regional business to perform analysis and problem solving for internal conveyance and parts delivery.
- Toyota Way 5 why analysis and problem solving on system related issues.
Travel - 25 %
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent. BA in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
- 3 years Enterprise IT application implementation.
- 3 years Microsoft office (Word, Excel, and Visio) experience to include documenting IT requirements, design, use, test, and solutions.
- 3 years IT project budget management experience.
- 2 years large enterprise project management with demonstrated capability to initiate, lead, manage and report out status of project.
Preferred
- 2 years manufacturing, supply chain, internal logistics, or maintenance management experience.
- ASP.net, JAVA, or similar development language experience.
- 2 years supervisory experience of development of IT Staff.
- TBP Panel Certified (passed panel) or similar problem solving certification.
- 2 years Toyota experience with a understanding of Toyota Way
