Consultant to support the team in providing technical guidance and programme support on armed violence

UNICEF, the world’s leading organization working for the rights of children, seeks a Child Protection Consultant to support the team in providing technical guidance and programme support on armed violence reduction/prevention and weapons-related issues to UNICEF country and regional offices, as well as supporting relevant policy and advocacy work at the global level.

Qualification:

• Advanced university degree degree in the Social Sciences or a related technical field, or the equivalent in work experience
• Eight years progressively responsible professional work experience at the national and international levels in programme planning, management, monitoring, and evaluation, in mine action, armed violence and/or a related field
• Proficiency in English and one other UN language
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to network with others easily
