IT Infrastructure Compliance Analyst - Houston, TX

Responsibilities:

Shell Exploration & Production Company (SEPCo) is responsible for safely finding, developing and producing oil and natural gas in North America. Shell has been operating in the Gulf of Mexico for five decades and these operations provide more than 73 percent of our U.S. oil and gas production. SEPCo is the largest of Shell's E&P operating units, accounting for 17 percent of Shell's worldwide oil and gas production. Based in Houston, Texas, our key operating locations are in the Gulf of Mexico, South Texas, Wyoming, Alabama, Alaska and Canada. The IT Compliance Analyst will be responsible for IT Infrastructure Security Compliance Operations related to:

• 3rd Party Access Mgmt including access approval, proper record documentation, Quarterly & Annually reviews and gap remediation and focal point.
• Firewall Management and Focal Point - Provides risk assessment for Network changes and requests; Review/ approve Network changes, including ACLs and Firewall rules
• User Security (ELIS) Compliance Management - Review of the Monthly ELIS Awareness Compliance Report and takes remediation actions by contacting non-compliant users and following follow up until compliant and facilitates resolution of issues raised by non-compliant users.
Ensures all Retained Infrastructure are registered on tracking system for ongoing Security Management
• Review and remediate identified gaps by the various monthly reports.
• Addresses remediation to vulnerabilities and compliancy.
• Resolves disparity and other issues relating to these reports; On-boards new devices to ESM and provision of evidence.
• Developer Compliance Management - Reviews monthly unlocked PC report and remediates actions by working with non-compliant users; Facilitates resolution of issues raised by non-compliant users; conducts annual challenge with users and management of the action points from this exercise and provision of evidence.
• Act as Infrastructure Project Reviews Focal Point to provide security risk assessment for Infrastructure Projects; Facilitates Step-out process when required.
• Audit Preparation and Compliance Evidence Repository Responsibility
• Responsible for regular review and compliance with Shell IT Controls/Security.
• Act as Shell Upstream Americas Focal Point for Annual Program Project Deployments, Other Security related project/program and any Transformation Project work responsibilities (ex. design review, requirements gathering, communication, change management, testing, supplier mgmt, etc.)
• Provide Disaster Recovery Plan Management & Hurricane Plan Management by coordinating the annual documentation reviews and testing.

Requirements:

• Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
•Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
•Minimum of 5 (five) years experience Information Systems Security, IT Audit, Server Administration or Computer Networking.
• Experienced in IT Risk Management and Security Controls.
• Experience in designing control processes, procedures and formal support documentation.
• ITIL Certification is preferred.
• Experienced in a large enterprise and multinational environment is preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational and team skills are required.
