Marketing Coordinator (Cancer) Abcam Plc

Abcam is a rapidly growing business, specialising in the production and sale of antibodies and related products. We are a web-based business, with offices in Cambridge, UK, Cambridge, USA, Tokyo, Japan and Hong Kong.

We're now looking for an exceptional Marketing Coordinator to work within a dynamic marketing team, and be involved in the implementation of marketing for our Cancer focus area. Key responsibilities will include electronic marketing together with the production of technical marketing literature which ccontributes to the marketing of Abcam's product ranges . You will also initiate the development of Abcam external scientific meetings working with the Events team. You will attend and sponsor external exhibitions relevant to your marketing area. Your overall aim will be to increase sales in your core product range and therefore sales awareness is an integral part of the role.

The successful candidate will need to have a systematic approach to their work and be able to multi-task. You will be confident and have excellent communication and Excel skills. You should also be able to work independently when required.

You should have at least a Bachelor's degree in the Life Sciences coupled with relevant industry experience. Postgraduate experience in a laboratory or the Life Sciences industry would also be relevant. Marketing experience and a Cancer background would be highly desirable for the role.
