Senior Petroleum Technologist - Artificial Lift Unconventionals

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the development of Light Tight Oil (LTO) and Unconventional Gas (UCG) lifting strategies
  • Effectively communicate and interact with the Center of Excellence, Research and Development (R&D) department, Technology Development department , and various other departments within the organization
  • Provide guidance to the process of developing and deploying solutions for lifting LTO and UCG wells to the
  • Identify best practices for a given set of circumstances and provide appropriate training and technical support to ensure successful implementation


Requirements:
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field of study
  • Strong technical knowledge on the subject of gas deliquification
  • Demonstrated experience with various lift techniques (i.e. bean pump, foam lift, etc.)
  • Ability to travel up to 35% domestically and internationally both inland and offshore
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience with artificial lift technology
  • Demonstrated knowledge of drilling and completions and the interfaces and issues that are associated with them
  • Knowledge of HSSE requirements
