SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR LESOTHO PROGRAMME

Send a Cow (SAC) is an international NGO set up in 1988 now working in 7 African countries. Its mission is to enable disadvantaged families in rural Africa to attain food and livelihood security by developing sustainable agricultural systems which integrate crops and livestock with social development. SAC has been working in Lesotho for 10 years and the office is based in Maseru West.
We are now seeking to appoint a Social Development Coordinator for this established programme. The successful candidate will be a BSc / BA in Agriculture, Social Work, Education, Rural Development or related fields or higher. S/he must have at least five years’ relevant experience of community development at field level, with a strong understanding of social development, project management, and delivering training to community groups. S/he will have experience of leading, supporting, managing, inspiring and coaching staff with different disciplines and backgrounds. Experience of working with an NGO is desirable.
