Workforce Planning Retention Analyst

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The purpose of this position is to assist in the collection, interpretation, analysis and reporting of workforce forecasting and exit data from the National Offices. This data will inform the organization of workforce supply and demand projections to support the overall People & Culture strategic mandate building depth of talent. The position will therefore assist in the development and establishment of quarterly and annual workforce forecast, turnover trends across WV Ministry to support the identification, sourcing and recruitment of the right talent at the right time for the right position(s) through close collaboration with NO’s, Regions and GC groups.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Responsible for assisting in the collection, interpretation, analysis and assessment of workforce data and metrics from the NO’s on workforce projections and turnover;
    • Using established tools, assist in coming up with key insights on WV partnership workforce, trends, projections for leadership;
    • Data collection, storage and interpretation/evaluation of workforce and exit metrics;
    • Carries out internal and external workforce trends to evaluate workforce plans, identify gaps and propose solutions to P&C and business/functional manager;
    • Provide ad hoc reporting, data consulting, and data analysis as needed; Networking with Regions, NO's and Staffing Specialists


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
      REQUIRED:
    • Requires Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Applied Economics or Human Resources (preferred) or equivalent of 5 years of on the job experience in human resources or data analysis;
    • 3 years experience in a similar role preferred;
    • Prior experience in market analysis (including NGO, societal, labour markets);
    • Advanced Excel and database application skills are essential;
    • Experience in Electronic Mail, Lotus Notes, PowerPoint presentations and database required; HRIS License, registration or certification
