Job Title: Human Resource and Administration Manager
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Creating job descriptions and role profiles for vacancies.
- Shortlisting & appointment of new staff. Interviewing & preparation of offers of employment.
- Preparing, managing & keeping files and data on all staff and relevant data.
- Preparing time attendance reports as desired.
- Presenting deductions per employee to the accounts department so that salaries can be paid appropriately.
- Appraising staff at specified intervals.
- Regularly interacting with departments and their heads to improve operations and resolve problems.
- Dealing with staff issues, complaints and suggestions.
- Management of entire company’s insurance portfolio.
- Dealing with maintenance issues, eg, plumbing, water, NWSC, UMEME, telephones, internet, etc
- Keeping records of and dealing with employees’ annual leave, sick leave, disciplinary action, etc.
