JOB PURPOSE:
This role is responsible for assisting the Head of Risk in developing the rating procedure of ICD in order to implement the external rating exercise for the organization .
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Support the Director of Risk Management in developing and preparing the rating book for implementation of external rating exercise including reviewing various rating methodology and requirement .
2. Establishing and maintaining the end –to-end rating work flow process. Ensure that adequate documentation is in place.
3. Provide regular report on the development and progress of each rating exercise and highlighting issues with recommendation and mitigation.
4. Keeping records and documents and making regular update on the monitoring of rating methodology and requirement for ongoing rating exercise and reviews.
5. Reviewing the Rating Book and provide comment and recommendation to determine and ensure that ICD is ready for rating exercise.
6. Maintain a comprehensive and up to date understanding of rating processes and requirements by various international rating agencies.
7. Familiarity and knowledgeable with various types of risk such as credit , market and operational.
8. Review and recommend for the selection of the most suitable rating agencies for engagement of rating exercise.
9. Assist and support the selected rating agency in conducting its rating exercise and act as an intermediary between different department of ICD and the rating agency until the completion of the final rating report.
Experience:
15 years of working experience with at least 3 -5 years in Rating
Qualifications & Other Requirements:
Post Graduate/ MBA
English is a must
Arabic / French is an advantage
