Office of Fair Trading Economists
If you have a background and passion for
exploring and conducting analysis, we can make the most of your skills
at the Office of Fair Trading (OFT).
Our benefits package includes fantastic development opportunities, 40.5 days holiday per annum (including public holidays and privilege days), annual season ticket loan, on-site gym and much more.
We need Economists with strong economic-related qualifications, excellent drafting skills and the ability to present and articulate views to groups of senior stakeholders.
Additionally, you will have strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently as well as within a team. If you have these attributes, together with initiative and the ability to organise a busy workload in order to meet tight deadlines, we would like to hear from you.
As an Economist at the OFT, you will work on a wide range of projects with opportunities to solve real problems through delivering cases and projects in mixed disciplinary teams. These pivotal posts could find you identifying and investigating high profile cases, where your work will directly impact UK markets. Whether you provide an advisory, research, or investigative service at the OFT, you will gain first-hand experience of commercial issues across many sectors, all of which are of major importance to the UK economy.
To apply, or for further information on these and other roles, please visit: http://www.oft.gov.uk/about-the-oft/working-for-us/vacancies/ or email recruitment@oft.gsi.gov.uk.
