and democratic governance, economic freedom, and investments in their
citizenry.
Currently, we are looking for talented and dedicated people to join our team. We have multiple positions open within the Environmental & Social Performance Division in the Department of Compact Operations.
Director, Environmental & Social Performance (ESP) $115,000-$158,000
As a Director, you will work with multidisciplinary teams to oversee
and support the development and implementation of projects in a
developing country context consistent with international environmental,
social, health and safety standards. You will evaluate environmental and
social risks and performance of Compact-funded activities and identify
opportunities for enhancing project design and implementation. You will
interact with a broad network of stakeholders and work on large-scale
projects in sectors such as transportation, agriculture, water
/sanitation, and municipal infrastructure.Candidates must be willing to travel to MCC Compact countries in support of project development and implementation oversight. French, Spanish, or Portuguese language skills are desirable.
Ideal candidates will have senior-level experience doing similar work in the private sector, or working with a development organization such as the World Bank, international NGO, or other international development agency.
