TIGO CHAD HR MANAGER
Role Purpose You will be responsible for contributing to Tigo’s strategic goals, continually improving the present (and future) performance of country and creating team spirit based on the Tigo Values. You will stimulate innovation and consumer focus throughout the operation and assist in the overall management of the Human Resources Department; in developing and administering the company wide human resources programs, policies and practices. This role consist in: Planning, organizing, developing, implementing, coordinating and directing the HR function. Key Responsibilities CORE RESPONSIBILITIES • Provides overall guidance and direction to the HR areas of Reward, employee relations and welfare, internal communication & engagement, performance & development, as well as recruitment. • Assists executive management in the annual review of the company’s wage and salary program • Drive a people-related change management exercise • Manage complex relationships • Build a strong HR Team, in the operation • Is a business partner for his peers and general manager • Develop and update annually strategic HR (action) plan that compliments the overall company goals and plans and makes recommendations for improvement of company’s policies, procedures and practices on HR matters • Delivers the estimated HR KPIs • Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and insures company’s compliance • Develop and implement a comprehensive manpower development programme to ensure the structured training and development of personnel as part of succession planning • Takes measures to fully comply with SOX requirements • Drives internal communication and boosts morale, communicating changes in personnel policies and procedures and ensures proper compliance • Bring to bear commercial, negotiating and people management skills • Ensure observance and adherence to the company policies, values, code of conduct, and the golden rules • Lives the TIGO values • Connect to the business with a pragmatic and business oriented HR agenda • Contribute with quality and speed in the people processes to ensure the business agenda and objectives Position Requirements QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE • University degree HRM, Sociology, Psychology oriented • Master degree HRM, Sociology, Psychology oriented • MBA is a plus • Has experience in complex change processes • High integrity and strong character • Has extensive experience within the HR field, experience in the business is a plus • Ability to be innovative, think outside the box and challenge the status quo • A good commercial/financial background • Have problem solving skills and analytical skills, can think on a strategic level • Excellent human relations and communication skills • Demonstrate a deep understanding of HR concepts and application of tools and models • 5 to 10 years of leadership experience in HR • Fluent English, French or Spanish is a plus http://careers.peopleclick.eu.com/careerscp/client_millicom/external/en/jobDetails.do?jobPostId=1879&localeCode=en-us |
