Chief of Party (COP)-Development Food Aid Programs (DFAPs)

Catholic Relief Services (CRS) carries out the commitment of the Bishops of the United States to assist the poor and vulnerable overseas.
We are recruiting for three USAID Title II development food assistance program (DFAP) COP positions based in Burundi, Madagascar and Malawi. These positions are contingent upon an award of funding from the donor.
The COP is responsible for providing overall leadership to the project, including high-level representation to project stakeholders, design and execution of project strategy, and management of the project’s human and financial resources to achieve planned project outcomes and compliance with donor requirements.

Requirements:
• Minimum Master’s Degree in Economic Development, Agricultural Economics, Public Health, Development Studies, International Relations or related field required. Ph.D. preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of increasing management and representation responsibility in developing countries with experience in operational research, nutrition or food security.
• Significant senior-level USAID project management experience, previous Title II experience desired.
• Familiarity with policies, procedures, regulations and priorities of USAID
• Previous experience in the target country or region preferred •French required for Madagascar and Burundi
