Communication Officer

The IPPF European Network (IPPF EN) regional office in Brussels is seeking to recruit
a full-time energetic
Communication Officer
to join its public affairs department
IPPF is a global service provider and a leading advocate of sexual and reproductive health and rights for all. We are a worldwide movement of national organizations working with and for communities and individuals. IPPF EN includes 39 membership-based associations throughout Europe and Central Asia, as well as the Regional Office in Brussels, Belgium.
You are able to promote the work of the IPPF EN led Countdown2015Europe consortium as well as the general work of IPPF EN Regional Office and the 39 Member Associations in as many countries.
Our new colleague should be a team player but at the same time capable of taking initiative and responsibility for all the work that is related to communications, including old and new communication channels.

Profile:
We expect the candidate to have the skills to transform “dry” material into attractive, easy-to-read news and to have a high-level knowledge about the new ways of communication.  As the working language of the IPPF is UK English, we would be looking for a native English speaker.
