Science|Business, a media and communications company focused on research and innovation in Europe, is seeking a news editor for its online news service on EU R&D policy and innovation. This service, with more than 10K subscribers, is the top specialist publication in its field. These are the qualifications we are seeking in this post:

Must have (applicants without these qualifications will not be considered):
1. Direct experience with EU affairs
2. Native or near-native English skills
3. EU work visa

Must also have one of these qualifications:
1. Knowledge of EU R&I policy
2. Journalistic experience

As the above indicates, we are seeking an ambitious person with experience in EU affairs and a desire to make a mark – for the better – in the way the EU conducts its research and innovation policy, through solid research and timely reporting. Employment terms depend on the qualifications of the individual, but this is a position best-suited to someone wishing to rise in a developing career rather than an established EU policy analyst.
