Logistics Manager – Liberia

We are looking for a Logistics Manager for a two year fixed term contract to work in Liberia.  Reporting to the Country Director, the successful applicant will have a strong track record of working at a senior level within an international development organisation – preferably in Africa – and can demonstrate significant experience of leading and managing logistics, transport and security functions.  You will have excellent leadership, people and motivational skills. Operational excellence is essential as is cultural sensitivity and community engagement skills and experience.
Working from Tubmanburg, Liberia you will support the Country Director to expand a highly successful and growing school feeding programme to new geographical areas and communities and may be required to work in other areas of operations in Liberia.  We are looking for a highly resilient person who is able to work independently, with excellent communication, organisation, prioritisation and time management skills.
A BA/BSC in a relevant subject (e.g.  Logistics, supply chain management, business administration or any other relevant disciplines) or demonstrable significant experience in a similar role is essential.
