We are currently looking for an intern for the Financial and Administrative area to support Human Care Syria work.
The finance and administration position works under the Financial and Administrative controller as well as the managing director.
The intern will provide support to various tasks, they include, a number of office administrative, filing and finance tasks.
Tasks are:
  1. Answering phone calls and emails daily with the guidance of the provided A&Q booklet.
  2. Receiving and opening daily post and processing each as required, the mail will be mainly invoices and cheques.
  3. Finance work: dealing with invoices, payment proofs and filing them in the Accounting folder, data entry in the accounting database: i.e. cash and cheques received.
  4. Following with any requests related to admin or finance from the MD.
  1. Must be Fluent in English.
  2. Desirable to speak Arabic as well.
  3. Interest in the Humanitarian field
  4. Organized person and with the attention to details
  5. Capacity to work independently and under pressure.
  6. Perfect knowledge in MS Word and Excel.
  7. Preferred area of study: Accounting, Finance, Business, NGO Management.
Duration: 6 Months
Location: London
The intern will work at the Human Care Foundation’s office in London, Alperton House, HA0 1EH. 5 days a week, 4-5 hours daily, for a minimum of 3 months.
You will need to have permission to work in the UK.
Human Care Syria covers travel expenses up to £8 and Lunch up to £5 for the days you work from the office and covering the minimum hours.
