The Opportunity
We are currently looking for an International Digital Fundraising Manager to join an organisation with ambitious goals for children and a clear strategic plan. While advertised as a London location we are very flexible on the base location - you could be based anywhere around the globe (in an existing Save the Children office or be home-based).
This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious digital specialist to join our international team and bring about a change in the way we harness digital marketing channels to attract, inspire and engage our supporters, who are critical to achieving our ambitions for children. In this role you will help drive the digital transformation across the 29 Members.
You will:
  • Drive sustainable unrestricted income growth through digital channels
  • Maximize digital fundraising and engagement in humanitarian emergencies
  • Increase acquisition and retention through a compelling supporter story
To be suited to this opportunity you will bring:
  • Significant experience and be a recognized expert, in all aspects of digital; with a strong understanding of fundraising (ideally within an international NGO)
  • A solid understanding of and experience with the integration of digital marketing campaigns and platforms, with a focus on user experience
  • A proven track record in maximizing the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns and platforms
On a personal level you'll be a self-starter, an assertive and persuasive negotiator who is able to articulate the work of Save the Children with passion. You'll also have the ability to both lead and work in teams, to work in a fast moving environment and be respectful of diversity. You will also be willing to undertake international travel for up to 25%.
The role offers a competitive package in the context of the sector.
The organisation
We employ approximately 17,000 people across the globe and work on the ground in over 60 countries to help children affected by crises, or those that need better healthcare, education and protection. We also campaign and advocate at the highest levels to realise children's rights and ensure their voices are heard.
We are working towards 3 breakthroughs in how the world treats children by 2030:
  • No child dies from preventable causes before their 5th birthday
  • All children learn from a quality basic education
  • Violence against children is no longer tolerated
