Position Summary: **
MSI MEP is seeking a French-speaking expert in youth leadership programs as well as institutional capacity-development to participate in a USAID/Senegal-funded final evaluation of the Live, Learn and Play activity. MSI MEP is managing the evaluation which is expected is expected to include two weeks of field work.
Responsibilities:
The Youth Leadership Evaluation Expert will work closely with a Senegalese youth leadership specialist to conduct the evaluation, in close coordination with MEP's Senior Evaluation Specialist. The Youth Leadership Evaluation Expert will guide the methodology and tool development of the evaluation and conduct field work. In addition, the Youth Leadership Evaluation Expert will be responsible for leading the development of the report, prepare an initial findings, conclusions and recommendations presentation for project stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • The Youth Leadership Evaluation Expert must have the following minimum qualifications:
  • A Master's Degree in the social services or education sector.
  • At least 20 years' experience working with youth and leadership programs.
  • At least ten years' experience conducting organizational capacity assessments and managing organizational capacity development programs;
  • Ability to read, write and speak French at a professional level, with sufficient vocabulary to communicate easily about youth leadership and organizational capacity development issues.
  • Experience with research or evaluation methodologies related to youth leadership and organizational assessment studies.
  • At least 20 years' experience working in francophone Africa.
