COMMERCIAL ASSISTANT – INSIDE SALES

The role:
To support all commercial activities linked to customers (internal or external) in relation with the Sales & Marketing teams.
The Commercial Assistant is part of the Sales organization and reports to the Sales Manager.
Key performance areas and responsibilities:
The CA will support the sales force and the customer in all commercial aspects related to his/her area of responsibility (account, geographical area, etc.) in a timely manner. The CA is the main internal commercial contact.
  • Order entry (including codification).
  • Order acknowledgement.
  • Order follow-up with production/planning to ensure delivery security.
  • Supporting the expedition of goods (selection of goods to be shipped, preparing shipment documents, etc.).
  • Invoicing.
  • Supporting the quotation process in association with the sales representative.
  • Follow up of offers through the sales representative or directly depending on the case.
  • Customer support for all commercial questions through phone, mail, fax, etc.
  • Sales representative commercial support.
  • Active follow up of stock (security stock, stock level, obsolete, etc.).
  • Assist financial department for account receivable follow up. Take an active part in the credit management process.
  • Support the forecasting process when needed.
  • Maintain at all time the system in a clean status.
  • Update pricing timely.
  • Update when needed and in a timely manner the CRM system (SOPIC).
  • Assist the SM in all reporting tasks.
  • Assist the CSS or the SM in all necessary and requested tasks.
  • Perform holiday or absence cover for other team customer service members
The role will require:
  • Higher education
  • Fluent English would be an asset
  • PC advanced user (Word, Excel, Internet, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes)
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • In general a high flexibility is requested.
  • At time a limited amount of national & international traveling could take place
  • No travel restrictions
  • Driving license B
