Job Description
Corrections Advisors provide advice on strategies, policies and plans affecting delivery of training services.
Position Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
• 8 years of professional experience, 5 of which has been as a corrections officer
• Graduate of a certified state, federal, or local corrections training academy
• Ability to communicate in English
• Possess a valid driver’s license or International Driving Permit
• Ability to operate a standard transmission vehicle
• Possess a valid passport
• Negotiating, interpersonal and leadership skills
• Experience in a multicultural environment
• Ability and willingness to train other individuals in their area of expertise
Preferred Qualifications:
• Field Training experience
• International experience
