Position description	For our Structure, Scavenging and Powertrain Team (within Product Centre 2-stroke) we are looking for a Design Engineer.
Responsibilities	- Create and change 3D-models of fuel injection system, considering safety, design to manufacturability, design to cost, design to serviceability etc. - Create and modify 2D-drwawings out of 3D-models and drafts - Check 2D-drawings regarding to formal and technical accuracy - Support specialists in writing design guidelines and instructions - Write design messages - Lead technical meetings, for assessments and for releases - Handle request for alternative executions and non conformity requests - Transfer knowledge to other design group members - Lead small custom oriented engine projects - Work on continuously improvement of processes within design group - Co-operate closely with experts of design & development department and transfer knowledge to product/design engineering
Requirements	- Technician HF or higher technical education - 2-Stroke Diesel Engine knowledge - Experience in main engine structure and powertrain of 2-stroke diesel - Experience in welded structures - Good command of English and German - Experience with 2D/3D-CAD - Good interpersonal and communication skills - Highly motivated and willing to learn fast - Comfortable working in a multicultural environment
