Grants Manager
IntraHealth International, Inc. is currently accepting expressions of interest from potential Grants Manager candidates interested in IntraHealth’s submission for the USAID-funded integrated family health project in Rwanda. The Grants Manager will be responsible for leading pre-award assessment surveys of sub-recipients to gauge their ability to manage subgrants and to identify areas to build capacity to manage funds. S/he will monitor subgrantees compliance over life of project and provide support and assistance as needed, monitor and document budget performance, and oversee all subgrants-related documentation and close out, while maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
Successful candidates for the Grants Manager position will have a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or other relevant field and at least five years experience in accounting, financial and subgrant management with international projects. S/he will have strong grants management, financial, audit and computer skills and preferably will have knowledge of USAID regulations, systems and procedures for managing grant programs. Candidates will advanced financial systems experience, including MS Excel and Quick Books, and excellent written and oral communication skills in English as well as Kinyarwanda and/or French.
