Reintegration Manager - SOUTH SUDAN

Responsibility:
ACROSS is looking for a suitably qualified candidate for the position of Reintegration Manager. While working to transform lives and communities in South Sudan, the incumbent, under the general supervision of the Programme Coordinator in Juba will manage, implement and monitor the planned activities and project resources to assist IDPs and host communities to reintegrate into their homes and exercise independent judgment over project implementation in Lakes, Jonglei, Eastern and Central Equatoria states of South Sudan. More specifically, to:

Duties:
1. Coordinate and implement effective management for reintegration activities in various locations
2. Ensure the integration of cross-cutting issues, such as gender into the design and implementation of the project.
3. Support control measures for the use of project resources in line with provisions made available.
4. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner and devise strategies with other project staff for increased delivery of project outputs.
5. Provide direction and support to project team and identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
6. Organise weekly, monthly or periodic meetings with stakeholders and other organizations as needed
7. Prepare Reintegration proposals, periodic reports, monthly work-plans and organise with stakeholders outreach activities to areas within the operation catchments
8. Maintain excellent relations and communications with ACROSS staff, partners and GOSS.
9. May be required to carry out specific administrative operations and other related duties by management

QUALIFICATIONS – ESSENTIAL
Applications shall not be considered from candidates who do not possess ALL the Essential Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or Engineering or relevant discipline and further training in management
• 5 years of progressive responsible programme, of which at least 2 year closely related to implementing camp management activities or community settlements
• Experience in planning and implementation of emergency operations and technical interventions to communities will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge on carrying out assessments, data analysis, report and proposal writing.
• Fluent in English (written & spoken) and excellent in MS applications, Power point, Excel and word

• Able to undertake independent research and institute investigative mechanisms
• Ability to work quickly and accurately, follow operational and programme procedures
• Committed Christian with a heart for disadvantaged communities as refugees & IDPs
• Hardworking and able to work under pressure on short deadlines with minimum supervision
• Demonstrate integrity, excellence, stewardship, and collaborative abilities.
• Display trustworthiness, honesty, confidentiality and comfortable working in team settings
