Applicants must be available from late May 2011 - October 2011
Essential Qualifications: Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) or similar Medical Board. MB/BM/BS/BAO/BCH; ACLS, PALS (APLS) and ATLS
Essential Experience: General Surgery; Anaesthetics - recent experience of providing dissociation anaesthesia; Primary Health Care
Desirable Qualifications Postgraduate level qualification in Public Health; A higher medical qualification in either obstetrics, anaesthesia or surgery would be beneficial but not essential.
Desirable Experience:10 years experience in a senior Public Health post and / or Health Services Management; Demonstrated experience in motivating and leading a team to achieve organisational goals; Demonstrated experiences with evidence based decision making, strategic planning and needs based skills transfer.
