Abcam is a rapidly growing business, specialising in the production and sale of antibodies and related products. We are a web-based business, with offices in Cambridge, UK; Cambridge, MA; San Francisco, CA; Tokyo, Japan and Hong Kong.

We are looking for talented dynamic business professional to drive the growth in the newly created territory of Southern Europe. By implementing the sales and marketing strategy for the territory, you will be the key to delivering sales growth and product portfolio adoption. This will involve coordinating awareness and promotional campaigns as well as visiting key customers and opinion leaders within the territory. The role requires a degree of travel and overnight stays.

Your roles and responsibilities will include:

• Accountability for achieving budgeted revenue for region
• Implementation of a strategic marketing plan for new and existing products on an account by account basis for the region
• Coordinate language specific awareness emails
• Coordinate language specific promotional campaigns
• Attend and organize conferences and meetings in line with a strategic marketing for the region
• Maintain close connection with key customers in region.

You will be a French speaker and have a Bachelors degree in life science discipline and have experience working in a laboratory environment. We are looking for someone who is a creative thinker, and is proactive in taking the initiative. You should be able to demonstrate a good understanding of strategic and tactical marketing techniques. In addition, you will need to be a confident individual, good communicator and be able to follow through in all of your projects. Previous experience of sales and marketing to life science professionals is highly desirable. Ability to speak and write in French fluently is essential and a knowledge of Spanish and Italian would be highly desirable.
