VGM Partners LLC is looking for an expert for the following EC Framework project in Malawi:

PROJECT NAME: Technical audits to be performed during implementation of spot improvement works under the Rural Feeder Road Programme in Malawi

Global objective: The objective of the technical audit is to provide a factual report on the works/services carried out by the 6 contractors in charge of the works and the consultant in charge of the associated supervision, with regard to the organizational, technical, contractual and financial aspects, during the implementation of the project.

POSITION: Road Engineer -Team Leader

Qualifications and skills:

  • A qualified road engineer with at least a four-year post-secondary qualification.
  • He/she must have an excellent knowledge of technical audit methods enabling him/her to work in the field of road technology as well as of construction, geo-technology, topography and the site laboratory;
  • General experience of at least ten (10) years in road construction;
  • General experience of at least five (5) years in technical audit of works and supervision contracts;
  • At least five (5) years is required in the management or supervision of similar works projects, including at least two (2) years in Sub-Saharan Africa;
  • A very good knowledge of written and spoken English is necessary.
