Job Description
Linc Energy is an entrepreneurial and dynamic global energy company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange. Positioned to lead the world in alternative energy production by leveraging Underground Coal Gasification (UCG) in conjunction with downstream technologies, including Gas to Liquids (GTL), Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) and power generation, we are converting "stranded" coal deposits into assets.
Linc Energy currently offers two newly created opportunities, based in the Johannesburg office.

Senior Coal Geologist

Candidates must be degree-qualified in Geology, with a minimum of 5 years' coal experience in Southern Africa. This position is a pivotal technical role providing input on UCG, conventional coal, power and related energy project opportunities. It requires strengths in coal geology, exploration, resource development and Government approval processes, as well as highly developed communication and project management skills.
