Edinburgh Research and Innovation Limited ("ERI") is the University of Edinburgh's ("UOE") research support and commercial liaison company and is responsible for negotiating and supporting the University's research grants and contracts business and for promoting technology transfer.

Due to a reallocation of responsibilities within its small IT support team, ERI now has a vacancy for an IT support analyst. The main responsibility of this post will be to provide high quality 1st line IT support to local users in 4 office locations across Edinburgh and remote users in 3 other locations across the UK.

You should be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of Windows 7 and Microsoft Office products, and also mobile communication devices. You should also be able to demonstrate excellent communication, time management and interpersonal skills. Some experience in an IT support role would be an advantage, although training in all ERI systems will be provided.
