Specific Learning Difficulties Tutors

University of Edinburgh - Student Disability Service

The Student Disability Service is seeking tutors to deliver study skills sessions to individual students with specific learning difficulties. You will work with students in semester times on the basis of hours/days to be notified. Tutors will be expected to provide tuition to students with a range of specific learning difficulties including dyslexia, dyspraxia, dysgraphia and dyscalculia.

You will have a degree and relevant training or experience to enable you to provide the necessary student support.

Please note that these posts are subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (if not already a member, an application will be provided for the successful candidate). There is no annual leave for these posts and an additional annual allowance is payable in recognition of this.

The post is graded at UE06 point 6 (£15.88 per hour) but is currently supplemented with a market rate (to be reviewed annually) to £33 per hour.
