To maximise the value of the local audit work it is essential that local audit plans are co-ordinated with the bigger picture of the global audit plan and that work done against the local plans is to a quality standard that allows Save the Children International (SCI) to include it within the overall assurance given to the members. This involves regular follow up of points that have fallen due for implementation, ensuring that there is credible evidence to support sustainable implementation. The report at the region level will be combined with others and the results reported to the Audit & Finance Committee quarterly.

4) Support for regional office (5%)

The regional office plays a crucial role in ensuring that the country offices deliver on their country strategy, contribute to the global SCI strategy, have the tools and resources necessary to implement effective programmes and manage risk.
