POSTING JOB DESCRIPTION

Qualifications: Minimum of five (5) years trademark experience with reputable law firm and/or corporation; entertainment and media experience preferred. * JD from an accredited and nationally recognized law school * Member in good standing of appropriate state bar * Excellent organizational, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills, strong work ethic, attention to detail, sound judgment and discretion * Ability to think strategically, assess risk and problem solve * Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Duties: * Collaborating with business clients, colleagues and outside counsel in development of intellectual property protection strategies, including on-line and domain name enforcement and worldwide anti-piracy program management strategies. * Management of a large domain name portfolio for all Turner properties, including CNN, Cartoon Network , and various other television networks, programs and sports properties, including oversight of registration, renewal, and administration of the portfolio. Duties will also include policing and enforcing marks on the Internet, consisting of both enforcement and litigation support. * Domestic and international searching prosecution, enforcement and counseling * Managing global trademark filing programs * Managing conflicts and infringements, including oppositions and cancellations worldwide Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. and its subsidiaries are Equal Opportunity Employers.
