POSTING JOB DESCRIPTION
The primary purpose of the role is to develop, update and optimise local content for the five German entertainment websites (CN, Boom, TNT Film, TNT Serie and Adult Swim) and for German Turner channels on Video/Social Network platforms like YouTube, Clipfish, MyVideo. Principle Responsibility: • Development and implementation of activities to increase traffic on websites for Entertainment channels • Web development: conceptual development and format various local content to fit website requirements • Optimisation of layout and design • Coordination of SEO projects • Refresh content and teasers on a day to day basis • Optimise content on video and social network platforms as You Tube, Facebook • Work closely with business units like Marketing, Programming and Production to update new media content in parallel to the linear TV channels • Close partnerships with content providers • Close collaboration with Marketing, Research and Business Development department • Editorial responsibility for all entertainment websites The Role Requires: • University Degree in communication science, media economics or comparable • Min 2 years work experience in the New Media / Online industry • Ideally knowledge of website programming (html, flash, php, etc.) • Experience in photo- and video editing programmes • Knowledge of content management systems • Fluent written and spoken German and English language skills • Creativity • Strong communication skills • Accurate style of writing • Ability to work within a diverse team • Technical knowledge about websites, new media trends
