Designers for Community Health eLearning Courses

ACCESS Health International is a global health not-for-profit organization that aims to to improve the delivery of high quality, affordable health care in low, middle and high income countries.

Currently, the country office in the Philippines of ACCESS Health International is in need for elearning course developers to convert various existing content into elearning courses targeting community nurses in Philippine rural communities. This position would be home based.

Job Purpose: To work on the design of online courses, outreach materials and campaigns.

As part of a creative team, the designer will be responsible for:

• Designing and finalizing course content based on existing materials and manuals on maternal health, tuberculosis, malaria, community health, and health governance. • Designing posters, newsletters and campaign materials, including writing some content • • Designing templates for the Universal Health Care Action Network Website • Working on ACCESS Health's Philippine's social media portfolio

The requirements for this position are:

• We are looking for someone with compassion, an open mind, a sense of humour, initiative and a willingness to work in a collaborative, decentralised and creative organisation • A bachelor degree related to health or education • Computer literacy skills • Good knowledge and ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing • Interest in learning how to design courses using the web software Moodle • Experience in community health such as or elearning design would be an added bonus • graduates or current RN HEALS nurses are strongly encouraged to apply

You must be profoundly passionate about creativity and fostering this in others, and be a person who can work independently.

Volunteers are expected to put in at least 4 hours per week.
