POSTING JOB DESCRIPTION
Be the day-to-day focal point for the production team including booking & managing kit, crew, and organizing of simultaneous overseas shoots including arranging carnets, visas, and fixers. Support management team in smooth production workflow. Be in charge of all logistics bookings for the department. Charged with finding best deals for flights, hotels and car hire for all shoots. Updating departmental databases of recommended suppliers. Support Production Manager by submitting individual shoot costings and managing costs against show budgets; ensure all paperwork deliverables are correctly cleared and up to date. Additional rights and music clearances as needed. Maintain departmental weekly updates, troop reports and calendars. Daily updating of budget worksheets as well as processing of invoices and expenses. Candidates will need to demonstrate proven experience in a production support role. Knowledge of basic production & post production methods. Candidates must be numerate, have strong communication skills, be a team player and be highly organised. Candidates need to have a clear understanding in the shoot to delivery process. Experience in archive rights, understanding of risk assessments and file based workflow desirable but not essential. They must also be able to take initiative and be a self starter.
