Please Note: truTV internships are paid at minimum-wage, part-time (up to 30 hours a week) and structured to last approximately 12 weeks. Course Credit is available. Resume is required. Students should have a strong academic record (3.0 strongly preferred). Students must have completed their sophomore year in college prior to the start of the internship. In addition, students may not have graduated college or graduate school prior to the start of the internship (i.e. STUDENTS MUST BE ENROLLED IN SCHOOL DURING THE TIME OF THIS INTERNSHIP). Students seeking college credit are strongly encouraged to apply. Due to the high volume of candidates for Turner’s Internship Program, interested students are encouraged to apply for openings as soon as possible, as these positions will be filled on an ongoing basis. This internship will be focused on helping and supporting the editorial and video editing team. Responsibilities would include: tagging content, research, pitching ideas for content and blog posts, and help with our social networking outreach and strategy. The ideal candidate will be extremely organized; have web editorial experience or want the experience; be comfortable learning our content management systems and be able to take direction. Copyediting and any other applicable editing and/or writing experience would be a plus. Be part of a fun but hardworking environment.
