Description

· Provide clients with Financial Data relating to companies within all various Asian countries

· Maintain databases in a timely and accurate manner

· Use appropriate language skills to understand and source financial information

· Use technical and financial knowledge to add value to current data offering

· Keep abreast of daily market activity to ensure Thomson Reuters information is timely and complete

· Seek efficiencies in work practices to achieve automation

· Provide feedback on new database/application releases

· Support training of future members of staff

· Ensure timely and complete resolution of queries from internal and external clients

· Build up knowledge of financial regulations and market practices

· Liaise directly with internal and external clients

· Document policies, procedures and work processes

· Some roles will require employees to work shift patterns and/or during public/national holidays

· During cyclical busy periods, analysts will be expected to work extended hours to meet the strict timeliness targets

Qualifications

COMPETENCIES

· University education pre-requisite

· Fluency in Japanese, must pass or at the same level of JLPT-1

Fluency in English (and firm understanding of spelling, grammar and usage) a pre-requisite, must pass or at the same level of TEM -8

Fluency in Korean, must pass or at the same level of KPT-6

· Knowledge or experience of financial markets or accounting principles a distinct advantage for some roles
