Environmental Scientist The Cardno Group

We currently have an opportunity for a highly motivated Environmental Scientist/Engineer to join and strengthen our multi-disciplinary Environment team based in Brisbane. In this role you will find ecologically sustainable solutions for a range of exciting projects including mining and industrial projects, coal seam gas, public and private infrastructure developments and master planned communities.
In this role you will be working with a highly skilled and experienced team and you will:
  • prepare environmental assessments and management plans;
  • develop environmental impact management strategies;
  • produce high quality technical reports;
  • liaise with clients and government agencies; and
  • coordinate and manage multidisciplinary projects.
You will require:
  • a positive attitude;
  • a degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering discipline;
  • three or more years’ experience in an environmental discipline;
  • excellent writing skills;
  • knowledge of at least one environmental discipline such as waste, contaminated land, or water quality; and
  • knowledge of environmental legislation and approvals, preferably in Queensland.
