Laboratory Technician United States-Nevada
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities include: The successful candidate will prepare ore samples, process samples and exploration samples; perform work in the fire assay, sample prep, metallurgical lab and wet lab; be responsible for operation of analytical instrumentation, data collection and entry. Other duties as assigned.
SELECTION CRITERIA
BASIC REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this job, applicants must meet these basic requirements:
• Minimum one (1) year experience in laboratory environment preferred.
• Familiarity with chemicals and laboratory procedures preferred.
• Knowledge of state and federal health and safety regulations preferred.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize a heavy workload required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with peers in a team environment required.
• Experience with computer operations required.
• Proven safety and attendance record required.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of this position required.
