Recruitment Specialist Cardno Emerging Markets

Cardno Emerging Markets, Belgium s.a. is currently seeking a Recruitment Specialist for a full-time position in our Brussels office. We manage long-term development projects funded by the European Union to support both the public and private sectors in transition and developing economies. We specialise in technical assistance and capacity building to foster environments conducive to economic growth and poverty reduction.

The Recruitment Specialist will work closely with the business development and project management team and will be responsible for full life-cycle recruiting, including: planning, developing and posting advertisements to appropriate websites and using social media; conducting searches for experts in our in-house and external databases and through active search; screening, contacting and negotiating with experts in coordination with the project teams; conducting expert reference checks; uploading experts CVs into the in-house database; building relationships with experts for future opportunities; assisting the proposal teams with the evaluation, selection, tailoring and formatting of experts CVs for proposals; maintaining the recruiting mailbox; and representing Cardno at targeted events.

You will be successful in this role if you:

• Have a university degree;
• Are able to manage start-to-end recruitment including advertising, search, short-listing, interviews, reference checking and financial negotiation;
• Have experience in recruitment of multidisciplinary staff, both in the public and private sectors;
• Have strong interpersonal as well as oral and written communications skills, both in English and French (any additional language would be seen as an asset);
• Are able to strive for a high level of accuracy, work under pressure and respect predefined deadlines.
