Senior Coordinator Underground Mine Rescue United States

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities include: Successful candidate will provide leadership, oversight, training, coordination, development, assignment and organization to all Underground Mine Rescue Team and Underground EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) personnel and activities. Duties to include full support and cooperation with relevant Surface MRT (Mine Rescue Team) activities and personnel, support to sustain and improve upon Incident Command Center training and implementation, as well as furtherance of Mine Rescue Team competition efforts. All duties and responsibilities to be carried out in full alignment with current high MRT operations and standards while seeking to improve and build upon current high performances and expectations. Other duties as assigned.

SELECTION CRITERIA

BASIC REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this job, applicants must meet these basic requirements:

• MSHA Instructor Card required.
• MSHA Underground Mine Rescue Instructor proficiency and experience required.
• Ability to manage and supervise MRT’s in emergency situations required.
• Knowledge of Federal, State and Local MRT/EMT regulations required.
• Minimum three (3) years underground experience required.
• Minimum of three (3) years Underground MRT experience required.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position required.
