This position is on the Ad Experiences team, which is working to re-image the consumer ad experience. Our team is at the forefront of the "appification" of the Web and ads, in which ad experiences are interactive and dynamic and enable users to accomplish their tasks. Our team’s charter is to drive innovative ad products optimized for Windows 8, Windows Phone 7, and the Web that delight our customers. To that end, our team owns the ad products, the advertising SDKs, as well as backend systems that support ad delivery and management of ad assets. We are looking for an experienced, talented, and motivated developer to join the ranks of our ad products and advertising SDK team to help make the next generation of ad experiences a reality. The ideal candidate will have a track record of high performance and deep experience developing rich media Web experiences in large-scale Web applications.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Drive on-time delivery of high-quality software releases in a fast-paced environment
• Design, implement, and debug Web client software
• Collaborate with Test to ensure robust Engineering Fundamentals
• Collaborate with PMs on feature definition and scoping
• Provide feedback in design and code reviews
• Provide technical leadership by improving the development process
• Analyze risks and compromises

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong software design, implementation, and debugging skills
• Passion for new technologies, quality, and customer satisfaction
• Excellent communication and cross-boundary collaboration skills

Experience

• Hands-on experience shipping products or services over multiple development cycles
• 3+ years of professional software development experience in large-scale Web applications or services
• 3+ years of solid experience in several of the following: JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, CSS, Silverlight/XAML, C#
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
• Professional software development experience in Silverlight on Windows Phone 7 is a strong plus
