As part of Inventor development team, this position provides opportunity to work closely with Inventor developers, QAs and product designers, to provide customer oriented testing for Autodesk products. Ensure the high quality of Autodesk products to satisfy customer requirements. Besides quality assurance this position also grants opportunity to participate in certain level of Inventor development.
Job Title: Software Engineer
Location: Shanghai
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute feature level testing of Inventor, including confirm and close defects, write and execute test design document and so on
- Participate in scrum team as peer tester
- Review and provide feedback to product designer from customer point of view
- Automate Inventor workflows and triage automation results, as well as tools development
- Contribute to process improvements and refinement of development and QA practices
- Provide input to Technical Publications and review documentation of new features and end releases
- Monitor and support product betas and customer newsgroup forums
Requirements:
- Bachelor/Master Degree of Mechanical Engineering or related domains.
- Skill in 3D CAD software usage, and strong interests in CAD software.
- Familiarity and understanding of Quality Assurance and Software Development process.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to track and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Good communication, fluent written and oral English.
- Team player, quick learner.
- Be familiar with Agile - Scrum/XP methodology is a plus.
- Familiar with one of these programming languages "C++/VB/C#" is a plus.
