Position Reports to:
  • General Manager- CIG/ Power
Primary Purpose of Position:
  • Responsible for design of all Hydropower Project components
Key Responsibilities:
  • Analysis and preparation of general layout, concrete outline, reinforcement drawings
  • Design of steel and RCC structures using STAAD Pro software
  • Design of concrete lining for tunnels
  • Estimation of bill of quantities
  • Review of contractor drawings
  • Project Management and leading team of engineers
Key Performance Indicators:
  • Project delivery to meet client’s Terms of Reference (TOR)
  • Commercial awareness, timely submission of invoices and financial reports, reduction of lock-up
  • Technical support and mentoring
  • Client’s feedback about quality of deliverables
Key Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor degree or higher in Civil Engineering from an accredited university with 3 to 12 years of experience
  • Good knowledge of structural engineering softwares and finite element softwares
  • Ability to write fluently in English in order to prepare design memorandum and reports etc
  • Demonstrated knowledge and use of appropriate software applications and design tools
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully undertake and deliver client’s Terms of Reference
