Production Engineer, Onshore Production Support - Maersk Oil, Esbjerg, Denmark
Maersk Oil in Esbjerg, Denmark, is looking for a Production Engineer to join the Production Support team. The Production Support department is responsible for five main oil and gas process facilities and associated satellites in the North Sea. In an exciting and challenging working environment, you will be part of the team that handles all onshore production issues related to the Danish offshore operations.
Production optimisation and problem solving
You will use your technical skills for optimisation of North Sea production and problem solving. You will be a key link between onshore and offshore operations teams working with day-to-day support to the offshore installations in the North Sea to achieve production targets in a safe and environmentally sound manner.
Your main responsibility is to plan and optimise execution of activities influencing production and to coordinate production issues with other departments as well as external consultants and suppliers. You will be in daily contact with the offshore production supervisor and follow up on offshore inspections performed by Danish authorities and HSEQ. You will handle daily incident and audit reporting as well as provide daily monitoring, evaluation and analysis of production in order to optimize volumes.
Driven engineer with excellent coordinating skills
You hold an engineering degree and have experience from process industry. You are self-motivated with a high sense-of-urgency and work in a cooperative manner with a keen eye for details. You have outstanding analytical, coordinating and problem solving skills. As a person, you are a team player who thrives in high stress situations. You are fluent in verbal and written English.
