The successful candidate will conduct progeny test and develop a large scale single seed decent (SSD) system for the population improvement program.
Duties
• Conduct field trials for the progeny test and selection
• Develop and optimize a large scale SSD system for rapid generation advance
• Contribute to laboratory work including sample processing and genotyping
• Encode and manage data
• Contribute to data analyses under the supervision of Associate Scientist and IRS
• Performs other activities that may be assigned from time to time by supervisors
Qualification requirements
• BS (Plant Breeding, Agronomy, or related fields)
• At least 2 years
• Highly committed to work
• Strong organizational skills
• Good ability to work within a team
• Highly responsible and good communication skills
